I discovered waist beads — a tradition with roots across West Africa — and something shifted. These weren't just accessories. They were a ritual. A reminder. A declaration.

I started making them for myself, then for friends, then for strangers who felt the same pull. What began at a kitchen table became something much bigger: a community of women adorning themselves with intention.
